Past Meetings and Events
This will be the container for links to past SPBC meetings and events, both period and not periodic. It is still under construction.
In 2007 the SPBC as a whole had a noteworthy special event, a joint meeting with Slow Food Minnesota and they put together a slide show about it on their web site so that everybody could see what we did.
This event was repeated as the October 25, 2008 SPBC quarterly meeting. Photos to that event are also linked at their site.

2011 Events
There were no volunteers for organizing a picnic in 2011.
2012 Picnic
The 2012 picnic was held Sept. 8, 2012, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The location was at the home of Lara Holland, 2412 Westedge Blvd, Mound. (Lara helped run the oven at the picnic at Silverwood Park. There are on-line photo albums of the picnic accessible through this link.)
Reportedly about 25 people were there. I have a collection of photos from Sandra von Holtum that I put into an on-line album.
2013 Picnic
The volunteer picnic committee chose Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013. Once again, Lara Holland in Mound volunteered to host a pizza-baking picnic.
The picnic was at Lara Holland’s home, 2412 Westedge Blvd., Mound. map
Festivities were expected to start at 11 a.m. and last until 3 p.m.
2014 Picnic
There has been a late-forming picnic committee led by Barb Reiter.
The date will be October 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
